Born from a combination of muscle and sport bike technology the newly redesigned 2009 VMAX offers a lightweight aluminum chassis which puts the engine low and forward for a more centralized mass.

The VMAX is designed to handle both straightaways and curves due to its low center of gravity, and the 1679cc V4 offers more than enough power for an easy ride.

The VMAX has borrowed technology once reserved only for its sports bike cousin which features wave style brake discs with ABS and Brembo® master cylinders, a slipper clutch, and complete suspension adjustability on both the front and the rear of the bike.

The VMAX engine features a four-bore fuel injection with Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake (YCC-I) and a Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) giving this bike unparalleled acceleration.

The 2009 VMax is a limited production model.
